Most of you probably don't associate FUN and RENO in the same sentence but it's been a FUN day of RENO at rusted market! 

 The gang all pitched in and we re-did our front counter area. 

Here's the before, while charming, it needed some OOMPH! (is that a word?)

the guys started early by removing the letters, lights and old chalk board...

the shenanigans begin early :)

oops, does our insurance cover that?  whew, no permanent damage!

a brief autograph session... (i think all the sugar 

from the donuts were kicking in...)

the rusty tin sheets went up first,

and then a brief trip to Lowe's for some lag bolts...

and the amazing beam floated like a three muskateers bar...

ok, maybe NOT like a knife through butter though... (wow, who knew there were bricks behind that drywall??

time to reattach our killer salvaged lights from the Re-Store... 

begging the question, just how many rusted gang member does it take to change a light fixture?  FOUR, the answer is FOUR

and, whew!

and, then the letters started to go back up...

very careful math was involved...(seriously!)

just a little more to the right...

and, voila!

 (insert pizza & beer break here...)

the check out counter (aka a former potting bench)

was wrapped in this aqua painted barn wood...

and...we sat back and admired the handiwork!

...and of course had to take a victory shot!

the rusted gang ROCKS it again!

...and that's how Reno's are FUN!!!

Spring Pop-Up Market Update!

Rustapalooza's Spring Pop-Up Market was an AMAZING Day!  The weather was a perfect 70 degrees and sunny with a light breeze, there were 25 vendors in the back lot, and the shop was packed dawn to dust with almost 2000 attendees!   Here's some photos for those of you that couldn't stop by to enjoy...and to tease your for the next market in the Fall!

Rustapalooza! It's Back!

it's back!  and it's BIGGER and BETTER than ever!  our fall market has become an October destination, with 40 plus vendors from all over Florida and Georgia! 
Please join us, Saturday October 19th...Early Bird Tickets for first chance shopping from 8 - 10 a.m. go on sale at Rusted, 1523 San Marco Blvd. on October 1st for $8 and include a special morning treat!  BUT, they are only a limited number available so when they are gone, they are gone, so see you on October 1st! (and of course your ticket is good for the entire day as well!)
General Admission from 10 - 5 is only $2 and parking is available behind Rusted with a short two block walk, on street or the large lot behind the warehouse at the corner of San Marco and Nira.   
Want to know a secret though?  Bring two cans of non-perishable food for Second Harvest and admission is only $1 for the day.  Kids under 10 are free!
J&T Coffee Truck will be with us from 7:30-10:30 and for lunch The Yummy Grilled  Cheese Food Truck will be available as well from 11-2!
